Description
The Spiny Flower Mantis( Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii ) is one of the most stunning and sought-after mantids in the hobby. With its beautifully patterned white, green, and yellow colouring and distinctive spiral “eye” marking on each wing, this species perfectly mimics a delicate flower in both appearance and movement.

Native to warm, humid regions of Sub-Saharan Africa, this species thrives in temperatures around 26°C with moderate humidity and good airflow. It prefers a well-ventilated enclosure with plenty of vertical space for climbing and moulting. A diet of small flying insects such as fruit flies, green bottles, and house flies keeps them healthy and active.
