Description

The Porcellio expansus ‘Le Senia’ is a highly sought-after locality form of the giant P. expansus , collected from the Le Senia region of Spain. Like the standard form, it is one of the largest isopods in the hobby, reaching up to 3 cm, with its elongated body and robust appearance making it a striking display species.

They require a setup with good ventilation, a clear moisture gradient (both dry and humid zones), and a nutrient-rich substrate. Leaf litter, rotting wood, and supplemental calcium are essential to their health and growth. Colonies reproduce more slowly than smaller Porcellio , but their size and presence more than make up for the wait.
