Description

The Porcellio ornatus is a popular and attractive isopod species, well known for its bold colouration and distinctive markings. Typically grey to brown with striking yellow spots along the body, they add plenty of visual appeal to any enclosure.

They thrive in warm, moderately dry setups with a clear moisture gradient, plenty of ventilation, and access to leaf litter and decaying wood. Colonies are fast-growing and reproduce readily, making them an excellent choice for beginners and experienced keepers alike.
