The Nerve plant (fittonia albivenis) hails from the humid tropical forests of south America. This plant has been cultivated as a house plant for many years and many colour variations have now been produced, This is the RED variant with dark green leaves and contrasting red veins.

Its low light requirements and love of high humidity coupled with the many varied colours available makes fittonias the perfect terrarium plant!

Fittonias are dramatic, left for a few days without water this plant will 'feint', it will droop and appear almost dead, if spotted quickly enough and watered you can almost watch it come back to life!

Supplied as a small potted plant in 5cm pot
