Description

The Headlight Cockroach ( Lucihormetica subcincta ) is one of the most unusual and eye-catching cockroach species in the hobby. Famous for the pair of large pale markings on its pronotum that resemble glowing headlights, this fascinating species is a real conversation starter and makes an impressive addition to any exotic invertebrate collection.

They thrive in warm, humid enclosures with a deep layer of moisture-retaining substrate, plenty of cork bark and decaying wood for shelter, and a constant supply of leaf litter. A varied diet of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish flakes, and other protein-rich foods will keep colonies healthy and encourage steady breeding.
