Description
Cubaris sp. ‘Lemon Blue’ is one of the most visually distinctive Cubaris species, displaying soft powder-blue bodies with a gentle lemon tint along the edges of the tergites. Their calm behaviour and striking colouration have made them a favourite among collectors and breeders alike.

These isopods thrive in warm, consistently humid tropical setups with a moisture-retaining substrate, good ventilation, and plenty of hiding spaces such as cork bark and leaf litter. They appreciate a high humidity gradient, but benefit from a slightly drier zone for natural behaviour and population health.

Feeding primarily on decaying leaf litter, rotting wood, and calcium-rich supplements, Lemon Blues are both captivating and rewarding to keep. Their bold colours and moderate breeding speed make them a must-have for any tropical isopod collection.
