Description

The Cubaris sp. ‘Daxin Tricolour’ is a stunning and sought-after isopod, named for its distinctive three-colour patterning. With rich tones of dark, pale, and orange across the body, no two individuals are identical, making colonies particularly striking as they grow and reproduce.

They thrive in humid, well-ventilated enclosures with deep substrate, a reliable moisture gradient, and access to leaf litter and decaying wood. Colonies reproduce steadily under good conditions, although like many Cubaris , patience is rewarded with slower but healthy growth.

With their bold tricolour pattern and moderate care needs, the ‘Daxin Tricolour’ Cubaris is an excellent display species for intermediate to advanced keepers who enjoy rare and visually striking isopods.
