Cubaris murina is one of the most common and widely distributed members of the Cubaris genus. Known for its small size and subtle grey colouring, it may not be as flashy as species like Cubaris sp. “Rubber Ducky” , but it is hardy, adaptable, and an excellent starter species for keepers looking to explore the genus.

They thrive in warm, humid enclosures with good ventilation and a deep substrate layer, enriched with leaf litter and decaying wood. Colonies establish quickly and breed steadily, making them a great choice for beginners as well as a reliable feeder or clean-up crew species in bioactive setups.
