Description

The Bahamas Regal Jumper ( Phidippus regius ‘cola’) is a particularly interesting locality of the popular Regal Jumping Spider. Originating from the Bahamas, this form is valued by keepers for its attractive appearance, impressive size and the inquisitive behaviour that makes Phidippus regius such a popular species in the hobby.

Sold here as 0.5 cm+ spiderlings, these youngsters are feeding reliably and ready to grow through the juvenile stages. As they mature, their appearance develops considerably with each moult, making them an especially rewarding species to watch grow.

Like other Phidippus regius , they do best in small, well-ventilated enclosures with plenty of vertical climbing space, natural décor and good lighting. A well-designed enclosure allows them to display their natural hunting, climbing and exploratory behaviours.
