Description

The Armadillidium klugii ‘Slano’ is a vibrant morph of A. klugii , first identified in the Slano region of Croatia. It is celebrated for its bold red, orange, and white markings contrasted against a dark base, earning klugii the common nickname “clown isopods.”

This morph thrives in well-ventilated setups with a moisture gradient, leaning toward slightly drier and warmer conditions than many other Armadillidium. Providing cork bark, leaf litter, and decaying wood will ensure a healthy and active colony.
