⚠️ Shipping Update – Heatwave Delays

Due to the ongoing UK heatwave, we've temporarily paused shipping of all live livestock and plants to ensure they arrive safely.

The good news is that temperatures are forecast to drop significantly next week, and we'll be resuming dispatches.

Current dispatch schedule:

  • Orders placed 29th June – 5th July: Dispatching Monday.
  • Orders placed 6th July – 12th July: Dispatching Tuesday & Wednesday.
  • New orders placed from today: Dispatching from 27th July.

We've built up a large backlog during the heatwave, so we're bringing in additional staff and implementing a new workflow to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Description

The Armadillidium gestroi ‘Milky Way’ is a stunning morph of A. gestroi , showcasing pale speckled markings across a darker base colour, giving the impression of a starry night sky. This unique patterning makes it a highly desirable morph for collectors who enjoy striking visual variety in their colonies.

Like the wild type, this morph is hardy and adaptable, thriving in enclosures with a clear moisture gradient, solid airflow, and access to leaf litter and decaying wood. They breed steadily in captivity, making them suitable for both beginners and experienced keepers.

The ‘Milky Way’ morph combines the larger size of A. gestroi with a truly beautiful colour pattern, making it an excellent showpiece for any isopod enthusiast’s collection.
