⚠️ Shipping Update – Heatwave Delays

Due to the ongoing UK heatwave, we've temporarily paused shipping of all live livestock and plants to ensure they arrive safely.

The good news is that temperatures are forecast to drop significantly next week, and we'll be resuming dispatches.

Current dispatch schedule:

  • Orders placed 29th June – 5th July: Dispatching Monday.
  • Orders placed 6th July – 12th July: Dispatching Tuesday & Wednesday.
  • New orders placed from today: Dispatching from 27th July.

We've built up a large backlog during the heatwave, so we're bringing in additional staff and implementing a new workflow to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Description

Armadillidium flavoscutatum is an attractive pillbug species distinguished by its subtle patterns and characteristic banding along the body. Though not as bold in colour as some morphs, this species has a natural beauty that appeals to keepers who enjoy maintaining a wide variety of Armadillidium.

They are hardy and easy to maintain, thriving in enclosures with a clear moisture gradient, good ventilation, and access to leaf litter and decaying wood. Like many pillbugs, they are capable of rolling into a ball when threatened, adding to their charm as display isopods.
