Description

Armadillidium amegloi is a small but fascinating pillbug species native to the Iberian Peninsula. Though modest in size, they are active and adaptable, making them a great option for keepers who enjoy exploring lesser-known species within the Armadillidium genus.

This species does well in enclosures that provide both moist and dry zones, along with good ventilation. Like other pillbugs, they benefit from plenty of leaf litter and rotting wood for both food and shelter. Their rolling-up behaviour and manageable size make them easy to observe and care for.

While not a showy morph, Armadillidium amegloi is an excellent addition for collectors who appreciate variety in their colonies and want to branch out into species beyond the more common A. vulgare.
