⚠️ Shipping Update – Heatwave Delays

Due to the ongoing UK heatwave, we've temporarily paused shipping of all live livestock and plants to ensure they arrive safely.

The good news is that temperatures are forecast to drop significantly next week, and we'll be resuming dispatches.

Current dispatch schedule:

  • Orders placed 29th June – 5th July: Dispatching Monday.
  • Orders placed 6th July – 12th July: Dispatching Tuesday & Wednesday.
  • New orders placed from today: Dispatching from 27th July.

We've built up a large backlog during the heatwave, so we're bringing in additional staff and implementing a new workflow to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Description

The Armadillidium vulgare ‘T+ Albino’ is a striking morph of the common pillbug, characterised by its pale, almost translucent body and reduced pigmentation. Unlike standard A. vulgare , this morph displays a unique appearance that stands out in any isopod collection.

Hardy and adaptable, these isopods thrive in a wide range of conditions, making them a good choice for both beginner and experienced keepers. They reproduce well in captivity, but maintaining the albino line requires careful selective breeding to preserve their distinct traits.

Provide a setup with good ventilation, a mix of moist and dry areas, and plenty of leaf litter and rotting wood, and this morph will thrive just as reliably as its wild-type counterparts. The ‘T+ Albino’ is perfect for hobbyists who enjoy unusual morphs with genetic interest.
