Description
Ardentiella sp. ‘Pastel’ is a beautifully delicate tropical isopod known for its soft, creamy tones and subtle iridescent highlights that shift under light. Each individual displays slightly different blends of pale yellows, pinks, and off-whites, giving colonies a gentle, calming aesthetic unlike any other Ardentiella morph.

This species thrives in warm, humid enclosures with good ventilation, a deep bioactive substrate, and plenty of leaf litter and decaying wood. It appreciates a consistent moisture gradient —damp on one side, drier on the other—to encourage natural foraging and breeding behaviour.

Though relatively hardy once established, ‘Pastel’ colonies grow at a steady pace and reward keepers with subtle beauty and fascinating behaviour, making them a standout addition for both display and breeding projects.
