Description

The Ardentiella sp. ‘Ember Bee’ is a spectacularly colourful isopod, known for its glowing orange-yellow markings set against a contrasting dark body. The vivid, ember-like tones and striped “bee” patterning make this one of the most striking tropical isopods currently in the hobby.

They thrive in warm, humid setups with a deep, nutrient-rich substrate, strong ventilation, and abundant leaf litter and decaying wood. Colonies reproduce steadily but at a moderate pace, rewarding patient keepers with thriving, brilliantly patterned groups.
