Description

Agabiformius lentus is a tiny, delicate isopod species known for its small size and fascinating microhabitat behaviour. They are often overlooked due to their size, but they make a brilliant addition for dedicated keepers looking to expand their collection with something a little different.

This species prefers a moist, stable environment with plenty of decaying organic matter such as leaf litter and rotting wood. They do well in bioactive setups, particularly as part of clean-up crews, though their small size makes them more of a novelty or specialist species than a display isopod.

Despite their scale, colonies can thrive and multiply steadily when provided with consistent humidity and a good food source. A rewarding choice for keepers who enjoy the more unusual side of the isopod hobby.
